Traditional Chinese Medicine (five-year course theory integrated with 3-year course clinical practice of Acumox and Tuina, English oriented) aims to educate the students who can master the basic theoretical knowledge of both TCM and modern medicine systematically, having solid TCM clinic and Acumox and Tuina basic theory, basic skills and medical capabilities, good humanistic quality and solid English background. They should communicate with foreigners fluently by specialized English. They also obtain good autonomous learning ability and certain teaching and researching abilities. After graduation, they should achieve the level as TCM resident doctors, occupied in careers such as Acumox and Tuina, TCM medical treatment, prevention, health care and recovery, laying foundation of the careers such as TCM education, scientific research, outside communication and TCM management, becoming high-leveled, versatile Acumox and Tuina talents with strong practical abilities and consciousness of innovation.

针灸推拿学专业（五年制）：

针灸推拿学专业（五年制）旨在培养能系统掌握中医药基础理论知识、针灸推拿专业知识和专业实践技能，并具备良好的自主学习能力，毕业后能适应各级中医院针灸科、推拿科以及各级综合性医院中医科，有较强的中医思维能力和专业技术，可以运用中医学及针灸推拿学理论与技术，从事临床医疗、开展中医预防、保健、康复的针灸推拿学专业人才，并为在中医学教育、科研、对外交流以及中医药事业管理等方面的工作打下基础。

Acomox and Tuina(five-year course)

The objective of the major is to cultivate students to master basic theories of TCM, professional knowledge and clinical practices of Acupuncture and Tuina, so as to have a good self-learning ability. After graduation, students can adapt to acupuncture department and Tuina department in various levels of TCM hospital as well as TCM department in various levels of general hospital. Students can obtain strong ability to think in TCM patter and obtain professional skills. In addition, students are cultivated to apply science of TCM, theory and skills of acupuncture and Tuina to clinical practice, health care and rehabilitation. Also, it lays the foundation for the work of TCM education, scientific research, international exchange and management of TCM.

生物医学工程专业（中医信息与工程方向四年制）：

生物医学工程专业（中医信息与工程方向）旨在培养适应经济社会发展需要，具有坚实的数学、生物医学、中医学及工程基础，掌握中医信息采集与处理、中医诊疗设备设计和研制及相关生物医学工程知识，具备中医诊疗技术标准化研究和解决生物医学工程实际问题能力的临床工程实践技能高级专业人才。本专业采取“2+2”培养模式，通过建立“三个平台、三个模块”来实现。即生物医学基础平台、“基于设计学习”的企业实践教学平台和海外优质课程教学平台。

The Biomedical Engineering Major (direction of TCM Information and Engineering in 4-year system):

The Biomedical Engineering Major (direction of TCM Information and Engineering) aims to cultivate advanced specific people to meet the requirements of social economy development, with sound math, biomedicine, TCM and TCM engineering basis. Not only acquiring and processing TCM information, these graduates could also design and develop specific machines for TCM diagnostic technique. They will be equipped with biomedical engineering knowledge and have the ability to research standardization of TCM diagnostic technique, and solve practical problems of biomedical engineering. The Biomedical Engineering Major adopts 2+2 educational pattern through establishing three platforms andthree modules, referring to biomedical fundamental platform, teaching platform based on designing and studying of enterprise practice, and teaching platform of high-quality foreign courses.
